2012 - A Commitment to Change

Fresh from the discussions we had yesterday (welcome to the club, Yishu!), I decided to ride on this wave on motivation to get started on mapping out my life into the various domains.  

So here it is!!






Because I believe in the need to work inside out, I've decided to start my journey from the "self" domain. I've worked out some of the specific action steps for some of the domains under "self" yesterday but am also aware that I should not be too ambitious in trying to accomplish a million things. (Remember "take small steps"?)

So for January 2012, I will focus on the "health" and "skin/hair care" component under the "self" domain, as well as to get started on some of the stuff I've outlined for the "work" domain. In order to "be consistent" and "show up" more, I need to have the physical energy and the clarity of mind. So here are my resolutions/tasks for this month:

Goal: To boost energy
  1. Sleep at 11pm. 
  2. Exercise daily (10 minutes run)
  3. Eat breakfast and adhere to food restrictions.

Goal: To have healthy, well-hydrated skin/hair
  1. Remove make-up and cleanse well.
  2. Incorporate list of "ways to hydrate myself" into daily schedule. 

Goal: To tackle nagging tasks at work 
  1. Complete backlog of reports.
  2. Sort and organise documents on office laptop 

We become what we want to be by consistently being what we want to become each day.  

PS: In case you're wondering about the other areas in the other domains, life will still go on and I will try out some new habits when I can, but I will look into them in greater detail in the coming months.
